Cookie Consent and Privacy Compliance for Food & Drink Stores
Food and drink brands grow on subscriptions, repeat orders and email marketing. Pandectes collects consent the right way from the first visit, so your marketing lists and analytics are built on choices you can prove.
What makes privacy different for food and drink stores
Subscriptions and repeat customers
Subscription and loyalty apps keep customer data for as long as the relationship lasts. Customers can ask what you hold and ask you to delete it.
Marketing built on consent
Email, SMS and ad audiences are only as compliant as the consent behind them. In the EU and UK, tracking for marketing needs a clear yes first.
Selling across borders
Coffee, tea and speciality food ship internationally, so one store can face the GDPR, Swiss and UK rules and US state laws on the same day.

Frequently asked questions
Does the EU withdrawal right apply to food?
Not to goods that spoil quickly or that were sealed for health or hygiene reasons and then opened. It does apply to other products, such as equipment, accessories and packaged goods that remain sealed. Pandectes adds the withdrawal function for the orders where it applies.
Do I need consent for analytics on a food store?
In the EU and UK, analytics cookies that are not strictly necessary need consent. With Google Consent Mode, Google Analytics can still model results for visitors who decline.
Can I use one banner for all my markets?
Yes. Pandectes detects each visitor’s location and applies the right rules, opt-in or opt-out, in the visitor’s language.
Which privacy laws does Pandectes cover?
Pandectes covers 35 privacy laws, including the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA, CPRA and CIPA, Brazil’s LGPD and Canada’s PIPEDA, and applies the right one to each visitor by location. See every regulation.
Is Pandectes only a cookie banner?
No. Alongside consent management it handles customer data requests, Google and Microsoft consent modes, cookie scanning and declarations, an accessibility widget and the EU withdrawal button, so one app covers what would otherwise take several. Compare the plans.
