Cookie Consent and Privacy Compliance for Home & Garden Stores
Home and garden purchases take time: shoppers browse, compare and come back after a retargeting ad. Pandectes makes sure that journey is tracked with consent, handles withdrawals on large orders, and answers customer data requests without a spreadsheet.
What makes privacy different for home and garden stores
Long journeys, lots of retargeting
High-value items mean several visits before a purchase. Retargeting and analytics tools follow shoppers between visits, and that tracking needs consent or an opt-out depending on where the shopper lives.
Big orders, real withdrawals
Furniture and garden equipment are returned less often but cost more when they are. EU shoppers must be able to withdraw through a clear withdrawal function, and you need a record of each request.
Delivery and account data
Addresses, phone numbers and delivery notes all count as personal data. Customers can ask to see or delete it, and the law gives you a deadline to answer.

Frequently asked questions
Can I keep running retargeting ads in the EU?
Yes, for visitors who consent. Pandectes blocks retargeting scripts until a visitor accepts, and with Google Consent Mode, Google can still model results for those who decline.
Do EU withdrawal rules apply to large or custom items?
Most items, including large furniture, can be withdrawn within 14 days. Goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised are an exception under EU law. Pandectes lets you set the withdrawal period and validates each request against the order.
How quickly must I answer a data request?
Within one month under the GDPR, and within 45 days under the CCPA and most US state laws. Pandectes tracks each request against its deadline.
Which privacy laws does Pandectes cover?
Pandectes covers 35 privacy laws, including the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA, CPRA and CIPA, Brazil’s LGPD and Canada’s PIPEDA, and applies the right one to each visitor by location. See every regulation.
Is Pandectes only a cookie banner?
No. Alongside consent management it handles customer data requests, Google and Microsoft consent modes, cookie scanning and declarations, an accessibility widget and the EU withdrawal button, so one app covers what would otherwise take several. Compare the plans.
