EU Withdrawal Button
Under Directive (EU) 2023/2673, every online store selling to consumers in the EU must let them withdraw from a purchase through a clearly labelled withdrawal function, as easily as they placed the order. Pandectes adds that function to your Shopify store: a two-step withdrawal form, an automatic confirmation of receipt by email, and one dashboard to track every request until its deadline.
The withdrawal function has been mandatory since 19 June 2026, with no transition period. It applies to any store selling online to EU consumers, wherever the business is based.
How it works
Customer submits a withdrawal
From a clearly labelled link in your footer (and, on Enterprise stores, the order status page), the customer enters their name, order number and email, then confirms the withdrawal in a separate step.
Receipt confirmed by email
Pandectes emails an acknowledgement of receipt straight away, with the request ID and the date and time it was received, so the customer has a record on a durable medium.
You review and close it
Every request lands in your dashboard with its status and deadline, with the ones ending soon flagged and a CSV export. You decide whether each is valid and handle the return or refund in Shopify.

Where does the withdrawal button appear on my store?
On a dedicated withdrawal page that you link from your footer menu, and on Enterprise stores also on the order status page in customer accounts. The installation guide walks through both.
Does Pandectes process the return or refund?
No. Pandectes collects the withdrawal, confirms receipt and tracks its deadline. You decide whether each request is valid and handle any return or refund in Shopify, as you do today.
Can customers withdraw from only some of the products in an order?
Yes. Turn on order number validation and product selection, and customers choose which items the withdrawal covers. The selected products appear on the request in your dashboard.
