Pandectes in Shopify Sidekick
Sidekick is the AI assistant in Shopify Admin. With Pandectes installed, you can ask it about your cookie banner, accessibility widget, consent analytics, cookie scan and languages, and get the answer with a link to the right page in the app.

Cookie banner status
Who sees your banner, which countries it covers, the consent model it uses, and what is stopping it from showing if it is not.
Accessibility widget
Whether the widget is visible, and the accessibility laws it targets, such as ADA Title III, the EAA and the Equality Act 2010.
Consent analytics
Impressions, interaction and allow rates, category opt-ins, a health score and top countries, compared with the previous period.
Latest cookie scan
A summary of your most recent scan: cookies by category, how many are unclassified, and the third-party findings worth a look.
Languages
Your store languages compared with your banner languages, which are missing, and which need your own text, with a link to the editor.

Read-only
Sidekick reads your Pandectes setup. It never changes a setting, your plan or your billing.

Approve access once
The first time Sidekick uses Pandectes in a conversation, Shopify may ask you to approve its access to the app.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can Sidekick change my settings?
No. The integration is read-only: Sidekick can read, sum up and link to your Pandectes information, but it cannot change your banner, start a scan, publish translations, reclassify cookies or change your plan. You make those changes in the app.
Can Sidekick tell me if my store is compliant?
No, by design. Whether a store is compliant depends on where you sell, the laws that apply and your whole setup, so Sidekick never answers it from your settings. It points you to the live chat in the app, where a person can help.
What can it not see?
Your cookie declaration, script blocking rules, vendors, data requests, individual visitors' consent records and billing. For those, Sidekick tells you which page to open in the app.
Do some answers depend on my plan?
Yes. Some pages, such as languages and scan history, need a higher plan. Sidekick tells you when a feature is not in your plan and links to pricing instead of a page you cannot open.
Will it learn more?
Yes. Sidekick and the Pandectes integration keep improving, and more questions will be supported over time. Our Help Center has the Shopify Sidekick guide.
